When it comes to dressing professionally, in a casual business code, you should look for a balance between formality and femininity. Whether you’re wearing a pair of pants or a skirt, both should make you look professional. If you add a blouse or shirt, be careful of plain colors and sleeves ¾ or long sleeves. In hot weather the most recommended fabrics are thin, in addition to ensuring comfort are more elegant.

If you want to wear a blazer, it can be wool or cotton. The shoes and accessories that complement your outfit should also be of a discreet style. You can use closed or semi-open shoes and combine them with your clothes. Do not abuse the accessories, in the executive environment the woman should use maximum 3 to avoid looking overloaded (a pair of earrings, a necklace and a bracelet or ring are perfect).

If you want to dress business casual, comfortable and professional it is ruled out that you wear open necklines on chest or back. An executive woman does not need to “teach more” neither the miniskirts, because they are not professionals. Forget about cloth bags, vinyl or sports bags; they should not be with shining prints, or studs. If you wear a dress that is long to the knee, and favor more smooth colors, it is not correct to use blouses or leggings of animal print (“leopard”) or transparent (just what we tell you necklines and miniskirts) or use shorts.

Do not wear shoes for parties with too many colors or heels over 10cm, or use sandals or flip-flops (beach accessories, not office). An executive woman who dresses in a casual business manner should look professional and not in a “Sunday” style. Defining professional style and casual style in the office can be complicated because the breadth of meaning varies from person to person and from company to company. It is very important to create a dress code that helps all employees to understand what is allowed and not to give more weight to comfort than professionalism. Make your image a tool of success.
